VIGILIA - A Theatrical Ceremony for Endings
Secret Location: 30th Oct + 31st Oct + 1st Nov
As autumn turns to winter, the worlds draw close and the veil grows thin.
To mark the birth of Hush Hush Studios which is a new immersive storytelling agency, we are opening our doors over the Halloween weekend.
Behind them lies a house of eight realms, each with its own keeper, its own rules and its own small secret. Rooms unfold into rooms & corridors lead somewhere unexpected.
Along the way, you will meet characters eager to draw you into their initiations and rituals. Some doors will welcome you in. Some will ask for something in return.
VIGILIA is a ceremony for endings. For the patterns you've outgrown, the stories you're tired of telling, the old skin you've been meaning to shed. We won't ask you to explain yourself. We'll simply give you a place to set it down, and a little push toward whatever comes next.
Over one hour, the evening weaves together interactive theatre, contemporary dance, live musical soundscapes and a series of elaborate edible offerings, each one a small rite of its own.
Each show only fifteen guests cross the threshold.
Come dressed in your darkest attire.
Bring something you are ready to release. Leave a little lighter.
The old must die so the new can begin. Come and keep vigil with us.
